1. Forecast International projects that DARPA will spend approximately $153 million over the next 10 years on its Surveillance and Countermeasures Technology project 2. This forecast is being driven by the U.S. DoD's desire to enhance its intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities 3. In FY16, FI expects the Multifunction Optical Sensing subproject to initiate the development of a second-generation prototype sensor, which will demonstrate the full capability out to operational ranges.
