摘要

Computatiional fluid Dynamics (CFD) is utilized as a calibration and validation tool for the flowfield in the vitiated-type supersonic combustion wind tunnel. The flowfield due to a viti- ated high temperature air flow is compared with that due to a dry atomospheric high temperature air flow by CFD calculations. It is found that water vapor has a significant effect on the flowfield because of its considerable large amount and high specific heat value in the case of hydrogen-fueled vitiated air.
