Taxonomic And Faunistic Notes On Pleurathous Reitter,and Description Of The Male Characters Ofrncalais Brandti Platia & Gudenzi

摘要

The genus Pleurathous Reitter (Coleoptera: Elateridae) is suggested as a valid genus. Pleurathous hyrcanicus sp.n. is described from Iran. New faunistic records are provided for Pleurathous rosinae Reitter. A key to the eastern species of Pleurathous is presented. The male characters of Calais brandti Platia & Gudezi, 1999 are described for the first time.
