Inca Group introduces fully traceable alpaca yarns

The Inca Group, which specialises in alpaca tops and yarns and is based in Arequipa, Peru, is introducing fully traceable alpaca yarns in its latest collections as part of a new supply chain initiative. Roberto Fioretto, managing director of Inca Tops, tells Knitting International that the group has been establishing various ways of purchasing raw alpaca fibre that can be traced back from the final yarn to the original source.
