Smartfiber presents sea change

Smartfiber AG, based in Rudolstadt in the state of Thuringia in east-central Germany, is seeking to demonstrate how the cleansing and nourishing properties of seaweed can protect people's skin. Sustainably produced wellness fibres by Smartfiber have powdered organic seaweed mixed in during the production phase. The company says that the fibres can be used to create soft fabrics for underwear and loungewear, baby and children's clothes, footwear, home textiles, bedding, sports and lifestyle clothing ranges.
