摘要

The objective of the presented work is to correlate the experimental and theoretical forming limit diagrams (FLDs) for 6016-T4 Aluminum alloy deformed under linear and complex strain paths. The directionalities in yield strength and r-value, which are important for describing the yield surface shape, were determined under uniaxial tension. Each set of σ-ε data was fitted to the saturation stress-type Voce equations. A series of tests were carried out to assess strain path effects in metal formability. The necking phenomenon was modeled by using the Marciniack- Kuczinsky (M-K) theory. The yield surface of the material is described using the Yld'-96 criteria For plane stress state. A successful correlation was observed between the experimental FLDs and The computed limit strains.
