摘要

The theme throughout Creating the Customer-Driven Academic Library is that academic libraries must constantly evolve in order to better serve their student and faculty users and to bring more users in the doors. Author Jeannette Woodward states that academic libraries must lead in a changing environment and update their resources and physical surroundings to better meet the needs of their customers. She urges the library not to become like an empty warehouse with no visible staff but to change in order to remain relevant in today's world.
