Weavers from Estonia

Koiliblikas (or 'carpet moth') is the newsletter of the Estonian Textile Artists Association, which is published twice yearly by Kadi Pajupuu, who is head of the association. Kadi and five other textile artists and weavers from Estonia spent the week in England as guests of the members of the Frome Textile Workshop. Arriving on 1 May 2005 at the beginning of the week celebrating textile art in this country, they have offered us an insight into their work as weavers and also into the emergence of their country as a new member of the European Community.
