Natural Dye Workshop with Michel Garcia: Colors of Provence Using Sustainable Methods

I must declare that I am a great fan of Michel Garcia and his dyeing methods, so for me, this DVD provided three hours of inspiration, information and revision for the workshop I attended in August. A tour of the dye garden Michel has created in Provence makes me long to do a workshop there! Provence has a tradition of block printing on textiles and it was this history that initially caught Michel's interest and developing passion for natural dyes. He and Yoshiko Wada discuss some of the dyed samples from Michel's collection, and then the workshop begins.
