This study aims to clarify the characteristics of the plans of the Hoysala temples in south India, in terms of shapes, walls and arrangement of niches of spatial units through the composition of navaranga. The Hoysala temple is composed of several spatial units such as garbhagrha, sukanasi, portico, mahamanddapa.
