摘要

In order to reconstruct the viewable surface of an object completely and accurately using structured light vision system, one of the major problems is to determine the scanning path of structured light sensor before scanning. This article proposes a framework with a four axis motion controlling system that can be used for automatic planning of the structured light sensor scanning path to recoristruct the measured object surface without knowing the object's surface features. A three-step scanning method is used to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the measured object surface data. The experimental results show that the three-step scanning method works well with the object.
