摘要

The size of semiconducting metal oxide nanoparticles has been shown to drastically affect their properties,allowing these materials to be used for a range of applications such as gas sensors and catalysis.An intriguing catalytic application of metal oxides is the surface deactivation of organophosphorus-based chemical warfare agents.The increased surface area of nanoparticulate oxides has been reported to increase their activities.
