A Study of the Effect Mechanism of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Employees' Performance

摘要

Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is a kind of employee's behavior that is not required by the role or job description, and is beneficial to organizations. It includes nine characteristic dimensions in our country's enterprises, such as individual innovative, keeping public relationship, etc. OCB exerts an influence on employee's performance through personal ability, values and motive, working attitude, and "chance" or "resource". The paper offers some recommendations to improve OCB effectively for enterprise administrators, including assignment fairness and procedure fairness, believing in and supporting employees and corporate cultural construction etc.
