摘要

It was a harmony of education, information, creation and jollification. I'm in a special Ph.D. programme called 'Industrial Ph.D.' where we are required to work in a company and study. As my company sells tanning products and biocides, together with my company I decided to specialize on biocides to help me to give a much more effective technical service. When I received the e-mail about the conference and the Dorothy Jordan Lloyd Bursary I was really excited about attending the conference but had some doubts whether I would win the bursary. I decided to apply for it the last 2 days and then forgot about it. It was a Monday when my Assistant Prof. Hasan OEzguenay called me and informed me that I was one of the winners.
