An investigation of the stresses, pressures and challenges faced by primary school head teachers in a context of organisational change in schools

摘要

This paper is a preliminary report of initial findings from research work carried out over the past year. The research explores, through biographic interviews, the experiences of head teachers in relation to leadership in education in times of organisational change. Schools are very much part of, and a product of, a changing fabric in society.
