Optimum conditions are found for the potentiometric and bipotentiometric titrations of chloride with silver nitrate in solvents with different contents of acetic acid. The choice of the most suitable indicator and reference electrodes is made. Stoichiometric solubility products of silver chloride are determined potentiometrically in solutions of different acetic acid concentrations. The developed methods are used to determine sodium chloride solutions and solutions of hydrochlorides of biologically active bases down to the concentration of 1 x 10~(-6) mol/dm~3 (0.036 μg/cm~3 chloride), with an error of less than ± 2%.
