摘要

A new method for the indirect determination of the particle-wall friction coefficient in the vertical pneumatic and hydraulic conveying of coarse particles is presented and experimentally verified. Indirectly determined values of the particle-wall friction coefficient agree quite well with the measured values both in hydraulic and pneumatic transport. The proposed procedure simplifies experimental work since it does not require experimental determination of the voidage in the the transport system.
