Editor’s Remarks: Revisiting the Past and Looking Forward to the Future, Reconsidering Radio

As I commence my term as editor of the Journal of Radio & Audio Media, this editorial begins with thanks to the former editor, Phylis Johnson, who provided useful support in the transition and to the Associate International Editor Per Jauert, who has put in a great effort in this issue assembling a symposium about Digital Strategies and Visions. I welcome Daniela Mastrocola of York University as Book Review Editor. Her own research on community and campus radio as a PhD student will certainly inform her work. Thanks also go to Jacob Morrow, a creative and professional writer who is completing his studies at York University and Sakani Yogeswaran, who is also completing her studies at York University to work in public administration and policy, for their work as editorial assistants.
