This study investigates the market opportunities, the design features, and the technical performance of a scooter powered by Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) fuel cells. Market research was conducted in Bangkok, Thailand. A 1ow-power scooter was designed and tested for the analysis. It is based on more extensive research at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Princeton University [W. Colella, Fuel Cell Powered Scooters, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, l997].
