Thirty years of shaping the discipline: JOB's most influential papers

With this issue, the Journal of Organizational Behavior will have completed 30 years of publication. In that period, over 1100 research papers have been published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior (from 1988) and the Journal of Occupational Behaviour (1980-1987) under three Editors-in-Chief: Cary Cooper (1980-1997), Denise Rousseau (1998-2006), and me (2007 to date). The Volume 30 celebrations were begun in Issue 1 where, in a section moderated by Senior Editor Jacqueline Coyle-Shapiro (2009), JOB's three Editors-in-Chief expressed their ideas about the past, present, and future of JOB (Ashkanasy, 2009a; Cooper, 2009; Rousseau, 2009). In this issue, I conclude the celebrations by recognizing the most influential papers published in JOB.
