摘要

This research studied the effects of curing age on the creep and shrinkage of lightweight concrete. Creep values of lightweight aggregate concrete cured for 7 days and 14 days were compared. The shrinkage and creep values of concrete specimens cured for 7 days were higher than those of 14-day specimens. The total shrinkages of the lightweight concrete cured for 7 days and 14 days were 0.62x10~(-3) and 0.65x10~(-3) respectively; the drying shrinkages were 0.51x10~(-3) and 0.48x10~(-3) respectively. The total creep values of the lightweight concrete specimens cured for 7 days and 14 days were 0.9x10~(-3) and 0.8x10~(-3) while the corresponding basic creep values were 0.88x10~(-3) and 0.67x10~(-3) respectively. The findings indicated that curing age has a significant effect on the autogenous shrinkage of lightweight concrete. The magnitudes of the drying shrinkage and total creep were similar to those of normal weight concrete.
