摘要

The present work shows the results from the investigation of the effect of porosity on the character of microstructure, formed after sintering. The study was carried out on the Fe - 0.85%Mo - 1.6%C PM material. For the purpose of research, samples with porosity of 16, 11, 7.5 and 5 (vol)% were pressed and subjected to sintering at 1443 and 1473K. Qualitative metallographic analysis of the sintered specimens was carried out and their microhardness was measured. It was established that the different initial porosity predetermines the various dispersity of the structural components as well as certain phase composition differences.
