An Introduction to the Houston Maritime Arbitrators Association

Since 1998, the Houston Maritime Arbitrators Association (HMAA), has provided rules and arbitrators for disputes relating to all aspects of the maritime community―international trade and transport, offshore or inshore (brown water), energy, insurance, finance, repair and construction. When a dispute arises, whether from a contract or charter party, after cargo loss or damage, property damage or personal injury, its resolution can come promptly and efficiently from an HMAA arbitrator.
