More than One Way to Tell a Story: Integrating Storytelling into Your Law Course

Viewing the law in story form through television, film, and literature is often what shapes students' perceptions of the law prior to entering a legal studies course. Students' familiarity with the law in story form reinforces the appropriateness of storytelling in the classroom. By introducing the law through the many storytelling techniques described here, students will be able to create beneficial connections between their prior awareness of the law and specific legal concepts.
