In this first issue of the second volume of Journal of LeadershipnStudies, I hope that readers will take away an enriched understandingnof leadership and change. These topics are discussednherein from diverse perspectives, not only at an organizationalnlevel, but also within leader and member groups—groupsnthat include underrepresented individuals, generationalndistinctions, and differences in preference.nIn Feature Articles, Ioannis Koskosas, Georgia Charitoudi,nand Malamati Louta provide a description of the roles of culturalncohesiveness and strength in goal setting, as well as theninfluence of each upon performance. While primarilynconsidering cultural variables’ influence upon process andnoutcome in financial organizations that are working tonestablish information security goals, these authors also worknto provide relevance beyond industry boundaries and organizationalnpractices. Robert Hofman also focuses at thenorganizational level by comparing outcomes for organizationsnled with a demonstrated conscious-authentic leadershipnapproach with those that are not. Hofman’s contribution includesncomparisons based on employee withdrawal behaviornand absenteeism
