Development of the Eco-Navigation Planning System for Domestic Vessel and Considerations of the Simplified Method

摘要

We developed the eco-navigation planning system and demonstrated an average of 4% FOC reduction effect. And we verified equivalent effect on FOC observation in the actual route. We also confirmed that the FOC estimation of this system is in few percent of the error which is quite high precision. It is said this system is helpful for FOC saving and reduction effect of this system is statistically reliable. However it takes many times and costs to introduce this system because of the preparation for estimation of ship performance, so we considered the simplified method. From the result of the experiment, we demonstrated about a half reduction effect of current method. In particular, the route selection is almost the same as the current and is quite effective. At the end, we are considering about the simplified turning method of ship performance to increase the FOC reduction effect of simplified method as future issue.
