Special Issue of the Journal of Investigative Psychology and Offender Profiling on the Behavioural Linking of Serial Crimes

In the last decade, there has been a rapid increase in the number of research studies beingnconducted on the behavioural linking of serial crimes, a psychological practice known asncase linkage, crime linkage, linkage analysis, or comparative case analysis. It is usedninternationally to assist with police investigations and also makes an important contributionnto legal proceedings in several countries. In recognition of this emergent area of investigativenpsychology, the Journal of Investigative Psychology and Offender Profiling welcomesnsubmissions of empirical research (qualitative or quantitative), theoretical reviews, and casenstudies on this psychological practice to be considered for a special issue.
