Uncertainty is a natural result when laws are in flux. Internet and data privacy law are constantly in flux to the extent that these areas may be considered the Wild West of the legal world. Nevertheless, shifts in Internet and data privacy law affect established areas of legal practice where uncertainty is an unacceptable justification for missteps.
