An Approach to Evaluate Capacity Related Reliability of Parallel Computer Interconnection Networks

Reliability is considered as an important measure to evaluate the fault-tolerance of parallel computer interconnection networks. This paper presents a method to evaluate the capacity related reliability (CRR) of these networks. The proposed approach is based on cut-set technique. The method is illustrated through a simple example. Capacity-related-reliability of a few candidate networks are evaluated using the proposed approach.
