This work focuses mainly on the behaviour of full scale size concrete columns reinforced with glass fibre reinforced polymer (GFRP) reinforcements under eccentric loadings. The experimental investigation consists of Series A and B. Each series consists of 24 columns specimens with different parameters like shape of columns, reinforcement ratios, types of GFRP reinforcements, slenderness of the columns and grades of concrete have been considered. Based on this study, the strength expressions have been derived by using the equilibrium, strain compatibility, and stress-strain relationship for the constituent materials for rectangular and circular concrete columns subjected to an eccentric load. For a known eccentricity, the expressions for axial thrust-moment interaction relations have been developed. The effect of secondary moments were also incorporated in the analytical study. The interaction curves for various parametric conditions were derived and plotted. Finally, the results of analytical methods have been compared with experimental predictions.
