The proposed Dual Fuzzy Logic Cluster Protocol (DFLCP) system has highlighted a robust, effective routing method in wireless sensor network using fuzzy logic. Due to inherent issue of power limitation in sensor nodes, enhancing the lifetime of the specified network is of prime requirement. So there is need to build an effective routing protocol for any real-time application of wireless sensor networks. The DFLCP method used for analyzes the eligibility of the sensor node in order to be elected as a cluster leader. The first stage chooses the eligible cluster leader nodes based on their respective sensor nodes transmission range and power level. The second stage deal with cumulative sensor node cooperation which is considered in the entire network. Simulation of DFLCP carried out in Matlab which shows enhancement of the performance up to 18 to 24% in comparison to highly discussed LEACH algorithm.
