Vertex Importance Analysis of Xiamen Road Transportation Networks

摘要

Traffic management of urban transportation networks demands for the efficiency evaluation methods. This paper presents the method of urban transportation networks vertex importance ranking based on travel time. The approach includes the network efficiency formula, the vertex importance and ego network vertex importance and so on. We take the Xiamen road transportation system as background to complete the experimental analysis. The experimental results show that, the vertex importance evaluation of the urban transportation network based on travel time can correctly reflect the network performance and the vertex structural characteristics which gives a promising way for supporting traffic control and management decision-making strategies.
