Shape Adjustment of Smoothing Surfaces

In this paper, we focus on the shape adjustment of blending surfaces. In order to control the shapes of resulted surface, several parameters are introduced in the smoothing method. These parameters are mainly used to vary the region partitions, which can ultimately adjust the shape of blending surfaces. Expressions of smoothing surfaces are deduced which contain shape parameters. Some examples are supplied to demonstrate the effects of shape adjustment.
