High Fluoride Wastewater Treatment - A Case Study

An industry (name withheld) approached this laboratory requesting proper treatment of their effluent containing high fluoride concentration. The industry is located in MIDC area near Kalmeshwar near Nagpur. This industry manufactures ferro-aluminium alloys, metallurgical cored wires and other semi-conductor products. Industry has erected a pollution control plant/effluent treatment plant (ETP). Present configuration is in Figure 1.
