THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE NEUTRAL: A LOOK AT MEDIA COVERAGE OF PUBLIC HOUSING

This question is frequently asked in discussions of public housing, and was almost always asked when I described my experience with the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials in the summer of 2012. However, if you looked at the number of positive and neutral news stories compared to the number of negative news stories published during the months of June and July 2012, it is difficult to understand why the perception of public housing is negative.
