Employee wellness initiatives have recently sparked throughout the workforce to strategize how companies can reduce absenteeism, injuries, long-term disability, and rising healthcare prices. It is reported that those who live healthier lifestyles have improved work performance, decreased health insurance rates, increased productivity and reduced overall costs. A majority of full-time employees spend most of their day at work so the demand was obvious: why not target CMHA employees and encourage wellness at the workplace?
