Advocacy and impact: The 2014 NAHRO Legislative Conference

Though this year's nahro Legislative Conference-IMPACT 2014: A Plan for Action didn't officially begin till the Sunday, March 9, 6:00 p.m. Welcome Reception, Sunday, attendees were able to avail themselves of a full day's worth of pre-conference activities. Advocacy Guru Stephanie Vance headlined a morning session on "Hill Advocacy Day Training and Tips," providing advice and insights for attendees who wanted to make the most of their Congressional visits. In the afternoon, Member Services and Customer Relations Director Lori Myers-Carpenter led the "First Time Attendees Overview," which provided both conference information and a networking opportunity for conference-goers.
