摘要

This is the second of a three-part series on the Springfield, Mass., Housing Authority's Talk/Read/Succeed! (T/R/S!) program, a collaborative initiative whose goal is to boost literacy among families and children. The first article, published in the September/October 2013 issue, introduced T/R/S! and offered an overview of the program. This article focuses in on the unique collaboration of local educators, the teachers' union and the housing authority. Many of the program's highlights are delivered in the home setting.
