EIF Education Summit

With over 60 percent of head-of-house-hold residents without a high school diploma or GED, the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA), wanted children who lived in poverty to overcome their situation through educational achievement and success. Thus, in 1991 they created the Education Investment Foundation (EIF), a nonprofit to promote individual self-improvement and family self-sufficiency. Its efforts focus on raising funds to support college scholarships, incentives for academic achievement and community events.
