We are excited to announce that Tushar Gurjal has joined NAHRO's Policy and Program Development team as our newest Policy Analyst. Before coming to NAHRO, he worked at Habitat for Humanity International in the State and Local Relations group, where he helped to monitor and track state legislation affecting Habitat affiliates. While there, he wrote memoranda and created reference materials on subjects including the Community Reinvestment Act, New Markets Tax Credits, and the process of advocating for impact fee waivers and deferrals. He has also worked at The Ferguson Group, a government services firm, and at various environmental groups, where he learned about the federal administrative, legislative, and appropriations processes. He is a graduate of Villanova Law School and Brown University.
