ICAO Panel Finalizes Amendments to ICAO Technical Instructions (TI)

Amendments adopted by the Dangerous Goods Panel are intended to implement the amendments to the UN Recommendations. Included are a number of amendments to the Dangerous Goods List in the Technical Instructions to reflect new or amended entries appearing in the List in the UN Recommendations, revisions to the classification criteria for Class 3 and Division 6.1, revised provisions governing the use of gas receptacles for liquids and solid dangerous goods, the new organic peroxides label among others. The DGP will consider introduction of Class 9 criteria into the ICAO Tl in its next biennium of work.
