The author examine the behavior of the heat-mass transfer in transition boiling from a horizontal surface in liquid-metal when a parallel magnetic field is applied of onset and development of Magneto-Hydrodynamic Ray-leigh-Taylor instability. The two modes-waves of propagation; parallel and transverse waves are analyzed. An analytical expression for the minimum heat transfer and mass transfer (bubbles frequency spectrum) was derived. The earlier equations agree qualitatively with the available experimental measurements made on mercury.
