MANAGEMENT OF WATER QUALITY MONITORING IN THE CONSTANTA COUNTY

Water, the most important element of our life, must be in our attention, being vital for human existence. Without water all biological reactions are impossible and as we know human body consists of 60% water. Water metabolism is based on a very complex neurohormonal system, but in different conditions we have a positive water balance in developmental period and a negative water balance during fiscal efforts. The human collectivities are using water for different purposes: first for physiological needs and second for urban, industrial and zootehnical needs. Our permanent water needs made us a special problem; water is not unlimited on Earth. That is way we have to monitor the water quality in the Constanta county. Many inflectional diseases are water transmitted. We had to talk about water pollution also. Pollution sources are organised and unorganised sources. Water self-purification is based on physical and physicochemical processes or biological processes. The objectives of the study are: the Rumanian laws including water qualities in the Constanta county and all the details of water quality in our county and to find all the risks for human body. The monitoring of the quality of drinking water from the county towns, according to the Romanian legislation which is in conformity with the European legislation Directive 98/83/CEE regarding the quality of water destined for human consumption, was made.
