INFLUENCE OF BOARD CAPITAL ON ENTERPRISE INNOVATION PERFORMANCE IN UNCERTAIN ENVIRONMENT, IN A DYNAMIC-CAPABILITY PERSPECTIVE

摘要

The existing research has proved that the board capacity, as one of the most important resources, can actually influence the performance of the company. However, in terms of innovation, the existing research has not reached a consistent conclusion of the board capital role. The main purpose of the paper is to explain why the conclusions in the existing research are inconsistent and even contradictory, and to reveal the dynamic relationship between the board capital and innovation performance, then to verify mixed mediating and moderating-effect model of the relationship between the board capital and innovation performance, in which the environmental dynamism plays a role of mediation in dynamic capability. The data analysis results from 385 listed companies in China Securities Regulatory Commission support the research hypothesis.
