摘要

In the event of major hydrocarbons pollution in the coastline area the intervention means and task forces are assigned, organised and prepared in advance according to pre-established tasks through specific intervention plans. The emergency intervention task force training is performed based on certain adequate scenarios and programs, through cooperation between authorities with attribution in this territory and other concerned parties. Practice has shown that in most cases the intervention management can be rather difficult as the response to an event of such complexity is conditioned by a series of variables such as the hydro meteorological factors, the polluter type, and intervention means availability, etc. The records of accidents followed by marine ecosystem hydrocarbons pollution prove that every accident is unique in its own way thus for every pollution, a different strategy must be applied. The case study presented in the current paper shows how a support solution for simulating, controlling and evaluating an emergency marine oil pollution situation, can be used, and the foundation of some solid intervention scenarios. The conducted research highlights the way modelling and simulation is aiding to set the most adequate equipment and amenities that can be decisive in order to reducing and fighting pollution.
