Camera makers add values to rejuvenate north American market

The North American digital camera market, the second largest in the world after that of Europe, has shown strong growth in recent years. However, as in the case of the Japanese market, the pace of growth in North America is slowing. In 2006, unit sales will likely grow, while unit prices will probably continue to fall. As a result, revenues will likely be flat. Meanwhile, advances continue to appear in digital technology.
