UK's Type 45 Program Steams Ahead

The BAE Systems Type 45 Prime Contract Office (PCO) (Filton, Bristol, UK) announced a number of contracts and supplier selections recently for the first tranche of three Type 45 destroyers for the UK's Royal Navy (RN), for which BAE itself was awarded a prime contract in December worth more than £1 billion.
