The onset of the information age has brought with it many complex changes in the way people access, consume, and use information. These changes in consumption and use have resulted in numerous implications and challenges for members of all academic disciplines. Compositionists, for example, have become increasingly concerned with copyright infringement and their students' use of protected visual and textual expressions-particularly expressions they obtain from the World Wide Web.
