COMBINED EFFECTS OF CARTAP HYDROCHLORIDE AND UREA ON BIOCHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF FRESH WATER FISH OREOCHROMIS MOSSAMBICUS

Oreochromis mossambicus were exposed to cartap hydrochloride and urea sepacaiely and in combinations, employing the static renewable method. The protein, glycogen and lipid content in the muscle and liver decreased in O. mossambicits exposed to cartap hydrochloride and urea individually and in combinations. In combination, cartap hydrochloride and urea exhibited synergistic effects on the O. mossambieus after 14 days exposure.
