Catla catla was exposed to sublethal and lethal concentrations of technical grade as well as 20% E.C. of chlorpyrifos for 8 days. Marked histopathological changes were observed in the vital tissues of gill, liver, brain and kidney due to the effects of Chlorpyrifos.
